Love Potion lanolin soap combines wool care with a delicate fragrance.
Its rich lanolin base (30%) allows you to wash and re-grease your wool covers while leaving a light fragrance.
This soap gently cleanses while gradually restoring the fiber's natural protective barrier.
It is ideal for example for:

• Wool covers and shorties
• Merino wool sweaters and leggings
• Non-superwash merino wool (and silk) underwear
• Natural wool blankets and sleeping bags

Its solid form reduces plastic packaging and offers a sustainable alternative to liquid detergents.

Why use a lanolin soap?

Wool naturally contains lanolin, a protective wax with the following properties:

• Water-repellent
• Antibacterial
• Thermoregulating

With each wash, this protection diminishes.

A bath enriched with lanolin soap allows you to:

• Cleanse without stripping the fiber
• Nourish the wool
• Restore its softness
• Slightly enhance its moisture resistance
• Space out washes

It is a simple and effective regular maintenance treatment.

Use for wool covers and shorties

Recommended for routine maintenance.

⚠️ If your covers have never been lanolized, first perform a complete impregnation with a special impregnation lanolin.

Instructions for use

• Fill a basin with lukewarm (never hot) water.
• Rub the soap in the water until the water is slightly milky.
• Turn the covers inside out.
• Soak for 2-3 hours.
• Rinse gently with lukewarm water.
• Dry flat, away from a heat source.

The more concentrated the solution, the greater the lanolin content.

Use as a treatment for untreated wool garments

This soap can also be used as a treatment for:

• Virgin wool sweaters
• Untreated merino garments
• Natural wool blankets
• Non-superwash wool baby clothes
