Yes. One of the colours in the Hempies range has been laboratory tested and achieved a UPF 100 rating. The fabric therefore very effectively blocks UV rays, even without chemical treatment.

Do the pants keep warm in mid-season?

Yes. Hemp is a thermoregulating fibre: it keeps cool in summer and insulates in winter by retaining warm air against the skin.

Are these pants suitable for children in cloth nappies?

Perfectly. The cut is deliberately loose in the crotch, which provides the necessary space without compressing. It remains comfortable in all circumstances.
