Yes. One of the colors in the Hempies range was laboratory tested and achieved a UPF 100 rating. The fabric therefore blocks UV rays very effectively, even without chemical treatment.

Yes. Hemp is a thermoregulating fiber: it keeps you cool in summer and insulates in winter by retaining warm air against the skin.
