Regarding care, there's no need to wash them as regularly as cotton socks: airing them out for a few hours is more than enough.

When you wear them all day, air them out and let them "rest" for 48 hours. The ideal is to have at least 4 to 7 pairs so you can wear them in rotation, depending on your frequency of use and weather conditions.

And only wash them about once a month with a special wool detergent (the Ulrich brand I offer on the site is very good).
